The 12th Annual Mastantuono Law Office fundraiser to support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee was another success.

Attorney Craig Mastantuono and Rebecca Coffee litigated a not guilty verdict in a felony jury trial in Sheboygan County earlier this week, culminating a 4-year period of litigation on behalf of this client that also included a victorious trip to the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

The Wisconsin Court of Appeals recently held that, at a jury trial for a second or subsequent OWI offense, the State does not have to prove the first offense beyond a reasonable doubt. State v. Verhagen, 2011AP2033 (Jan. 23, 2013).
