UPDATE: FLAWED ATF OPERATION IN MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN
In an update on the flawed ATF investigation in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the Journal Sentinel details a letter by the U.S. Department of Justice Inspector General, which criticizes the operation. Specifically, Inspector General Horowitz states, "the case appears to raise significant management issues relating to the oversight and management of the ATF field office and ATF Headquarters." No kidding. The Inspector is awaiting the report from the ATF's internal review of the Milwaukee operation to determine whether his office will take additional steps. That report is expected the end of this month, which is fast approaching.
We invite your thoughts on this: Is the credability of law enforcement witnesses just as important as the credability of citizen witnesses? Should it matter how law enforecement witnesses conduct themselves?
